I Promise to Pay plot
"LOAN SHARK RACKET EXPOSED!"
Eddie cannot support his family on his meager salary. He borrows money from Richard Farra, who pretends to be good-natured. However, Eddie soon discovers that he has to pay a lot of interest and that he is unable to do so. When it turns out that Richard is part of the local crime organization, Eddie finds out that he has gotten himself into a lot of trouble.
