Human Traces plot
"There's more than one side to every story"
Glenn and Sarah, married scientists, are stationed for a year on the remote hills to study the effects of trophic cascade (an ecological event caused by the removal of a predator from an ecosystem). Glenn and Sarah's relationship seems solid enough to withstand the isolation and hardship of the island, until two changes occur in their own ecosystem. Sarah discovers she is pregnant and their quarterly supply ship brings along Pete, a new caretaker. Both events lead to a surprising ecological upheaval for the human species.
