Hostess plot
Jette, a hostess who speaks at least three languages, is fed up with Johannes, a native car mechanic. He believes that after two years of living together it is high time to get married. Jette thinks that this 'question' was asked rather emotionlessly. The passion is gone, it has had to make way for the car and television. Johannes gets a no and Jette flees to her brother. However, Robert is also unable to boast of a fantastic marriage, much to the despair of his work colleague Conny.
