Hoshi wo Tsugu Mono plot

Kenji Tanaka has been forced to retire by his company. To fill his time, he dedicates himself to his passion: repairing children's toys. Then he has a brain haemorrhage and falls into a coma. In his coma, he returns to his childhood, living in Nagano during World War II to be safe from the bombings. Full of homesickness, he and five other children set out on their own to Tokyo in search of their families.
