Hofrat Geiger plot

By chance, Hofrat (Peter Weck) discovers that Mariandl (Birgit Stauber), one of his students, is his daughter. He hasn't seen the mother in twenty years, and yet he is still in love with her. A reunion turns out badly, but he can't let go of his new discoveries, so he takes care of Mariandl, much to the chagrin of his colleague, who is in love with her.
