Hiena plot
Maly lives in a small Polish village. After a strange mining accident, he loses his father. His mother completely shuts herself off from the world, forcing him to save herself. To get home from school, he travels through a desolate area known as the Dead Ground. There is a burned-out caravan, where a horrific drama once took place. Maly's obsession with the horror stories he and his friends tell every day on the way to school takes on excessive proportions when a bloodthirsty Hyena escapes from the local zoo and corpses start popping up everywhere. At the same time, Maly encounters a horribly mutilated man on the Dead Ground, who forces him to look for food for him. The boy becomes convinced that the man transforms into the infamous hyena overnight and is responsible for the massacres.
