Het Veld van Eer plot

Former mercenary Louis (Ralph Wingens) possessed of weapons marries his old school friend Ada (Loes Luca). The honeymoon leads to Verdun where more than half a million soldiers were killed during the First World War. Louis can't get enough of the monuments, fortresses, cemeteries and charnel houses. Ada's honeymoon takes a bizarre turn.
