Het Leven Is Kort plot

Alex Spanjaard, at the age of nine, is told by an Indian fortune-teller at the fair that he will not live past the age of thirty. On his twenty-ninth birthday, he realizes that he may only have a year to live. Alex tries to stay ahead of the forecast in all sorts of ways.
