Het Gangstermeisje plot
The young writer Wessel Franken (Paolo Graziosi) from Amsterdam is successful with his book 'The gangster girl' and is asked by a director friend to write a screenplay for a film of the same name. This leads to disagreements about the film's main character and the actress to be chosen. His marriage hinders his creativity and, after repeated insistence, he leaves for Menton (France) to complete his screenplay in peace with friends.
