Herr Soldan Hat Keine Vergangenheit plot

Bernd Knauer, 13, is an outsider: he is paralyzed and in a wheelchair. In the older Mr. Soldan, he eventually finds a fatherly friend. But what secret does this man have? After some time Bernd manages to discover this. He has a criminal record and was in prison for theft. He is also an outsider, just like Bernd. But then the boy in the wheelchair blackmails him: either he commits another perfect crime with him, or he reveals the true identity of the thief. Soldan is now on the brink of despair.
