Hell and High Water plot

Captain Jericho is a convinced bachelor. He transports waste for the US Navy with his ship 'Sea Queen'. Jericho has made a habit of listening to Milton J. Bunsey's broadcasts on the radio. Bunsey inspires him to become a self-made man. In order to renew his contract with the Navy, Jeri wants a bigger ship and has become a miser as a result. Jeri's efforts to avoid obstacles standing in the way of his success are thwarted when he is unexpectedly confronted by runaway dancer Sally Driggs, who tries to commit suicide.
