Haven of Hope plot
The Pakistani shelter Panah Khana houses homeless and ostracized women, as well as women with mental health issues or disabilities. It is here that the paths of three women cross: a mortuary worker, a student nurse, and a security guard. For one day, they leave their safe haven to reconcile with their families. It soon becomes apparent that their relatives would rather declare them crazy than grant them their rights. In a patriarchal and conservative culture, these vulnerable women attempt to resist the boundaries imposed upon them.
