Hauptsache Leben plot

A small lump in her breast destroys her life. The attractive 38-year-old Corinna (Reneé Soutendijk), who has always been so proud of her perfect body, has to undergo a mastectomy. After discharge from the hospital, she gets the first signs of her "imperfect" body. Her younger boyfriend has cleaned the house, friend Kiki and her two daughters take care of her. Moreover, her neighbour, the sympathetic artist of life Tom, seems to have a crush on her. Corinna is afraid to tell him the truth. When her life partner Dominik surprises her with a marriage proposal, she has to make choices.
