Haru no Kane plot
Narumi Rokuheita is fascinated by Eastern art and works as a curator at the Saho Museum in Nara. His wife Noriko does not share these feelings with him and cannot leave her beloved Tokyo, so the two spend their lives separated. Lonely and abandoned, Noriko begins a loveless relationship with Dr. Katsumori. When Narumi comes to Tokyo one day, he finds out about his wife's relationship, but for the sake of their children, he decides not to divorce and instead devotes himself fully to his work. When Narumi visits Hachiro Ishimoto of the Shigaraki pottery house for work, he meets his unmarried daughter Tae.
