Hanussen plot

"He saw the future. And it was war."

When flight leader Klaus Schneider suffers head injuries during World War I, the doctor discovers his supernatural abilities. Schneider takes a stage name and has great success as a clairvoyant, predicting events. When he's arrested for cheating, his hypnotic skills help him get released. Nothing seems to stand in the way of his success now.
