Han-guk-i Silh-eo-seo plot
Twenty-something Gye-na is frustrated. She despises her office job, which demands efficiency alongside the requirement to turn a blind eye to a fraudulent tender, and she can’t tell her boyfriend of seven years anything special. Faced with pressure and the brutal cold of the Korean winter, Gye-na drops out and heads to New Zealand’s North Island. There, she stumbles upon a large Korean expat community in Auckland and discovers a strangely distorted view of the country she thought she was leaving behind.
