Hamoni plot

Moon Ok (Mun-hee Na) was a professor at the conservatory, but has now spent ten years in prison for murdering her violent husband. While in prison, she meets young Jeong-hye (Yunjin Kim), who also killed her husband. However, she was pregnant at the time and has since had a baby behind bars. Under Korean law, now, eighteen months later, she must give the child up for adoption. Jeong-hye forms a prison choir, with Moon Ok as conductor, and is promised by the prison director that she can spend one day with her baby if the choir is a success.
