Guests of Hotel Astoria plot

Iran, in the course of the outcome of the Iranian Revolution in 1980. The feelings and frustrations of Iranian refugees; a few families who escaped the reign of terror of the Iranian Ayatollah Khomeini. Their goal is to apply for asylum in Western Europe or the United States. However, they got stuck in a dingy hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. They all have their own gruesome story to tell and pin their hopes on a new homeland.
