Guarda il Cielo: Stella, Sonia, Silvia plot

Guarda il cielo consists of three stories, each with the same theme - the way in which women try to balance or balance their work and private lives - but set in a different period of the twentieth century. Stella lives in the 1940s countryside. She works day in and day out as a farm worker in order to one day realize her dream: to buy a piece of land herself. But a pregnancy always intervenes. Sonia is a student in Milan in the 1960s. She considers taking an education in Rome, but that would mean delaying her intended marriage, and her fiancé doesn't like that. The 1990s: Silvia works behind the telephone exchange at a mail order company. Her husband heads another department in the same company. Disagreements about work and union creep into their private lives.
