Grzimek plot

After the end of the Second World War, Bernhard Grzimek converts the Frankfurt Zoo into a major attraction and fights for the conservation of the endangered species. His television program 'Ein Platz für Tiere' makes him known to the general public. His film 'Serengeti Darf Nicht Sterben' was awarded an Oscar. But the renowned scientist is a man full of contradictions. His marriage breaks down, and he falls in love with his own son's widow.
