Gli Altri Racconti di Canterbury plot

A group of pilgrims travel from London to Canterbury to visit the grave of Thomas Becket in the cathedral there. They decide to tell each other four stories along the way, to pass the time and for education and entertainment. The pilgrims have a very varied background and this is also reflected in the stories. The themes vary widely and deal with matters such as courtly love, betrayal, avarice and adultery.
