Girl in Room 13 plot
Grace becomes addicted to opioids after they are prescribed to her by a doctor. However, after three admissions to rehab, Grace is ready to pick up her life again. Under her mother's watchful eye, Grace takes a job at the family restaurant. However, Grace is confronted with her past again when she comes into contact with her ex-boyfriend Richie, a drug dealer. He keeps her captive in a hotel room.

Given the large number of (young) people who become victims of human trafficking every year, it is right that more and more films are appearing that draw attention to these unscrupulous crimes. Then it is important that the filmmakers add something extra to distinguish their film from others. That did not happen with this television film. Just the standard formula: girl is kidnapped and her mother goes looking for it because the police do nothing.
