Gewoon Mens plot

A film inspired by painful, true stories about the benefits affair, in which the characters Government, Media, Society and People are central. One day the young single mother Mens is confronted with the harsh reality of the government. A small mistake in her papers ensures that she gets a red cross behind her name, with all the consequences that entails. Proving her innocence seems like an impossible task and she soon finds herself caught up in a Kafkaesque nightmare.
