Gentleman's Fate plot
"It was a baby-faced blonde who turned Jack Thomas, gentleman, into Giacomo Tomasulo, killer!"
Giacomo Tomasulo wants to get the most out of his life and he has his sights set on the unattainable and attractive Marjorie Channing. But then, on the day of his engagement to Marjorie, Giacomo learns that his supposedly dead father Francesco is still alive, but that he is now dying of lead poisoning. Some twenty years ago, Giacomo had been disowned by his father, but now Francesco wants him back with him to divide his inheritance between him and his brother Frank. This legacy consists of an illegal liquor distilling company in Canada.
