Game Time: Tackling the Past plot

"When winning is everything, what's left?"

NFL player Jake Walker (Ryan McPartlin) is about to break a record that will earn him a spot in the Hall of Fame. During training, he gets a call from his brother Dean (Josh Braaten) with the news that their father has had a heart attack. For the first time in 15 years, Jake returns to his hometown and there is instant tension between the brothers. In the meantime, Jake is told that his contract for next season will not be renewed and he wonders what his future will look like.
