James Cagney is again the hero of the film, what a great actor he is.
It also looked pretty good for a 1935 film,
Story was interesting and the gunfights were excellent.
James as a police officer is different from being a bad guy.

Classic crime film from that time with the expected outcome and with James Cagney now as a hero in the FBI and successful womanizer. He often showed a completely different side in his films and I liked him for that.

Cagney on the other side of the law, I do have a soft spot for this actor and although I have seen a film with him before in which he does not play a crime boss, it is something different.
he certainly suits him as a tough guy with his heart in the right place.
Furthermore, the film is just a good mix of crime, action and crime fighters.
