Friendships, Secrets and Lies plot
When an old student club building is demolished, a baby's skeleton is found in an air shaft. Research indicates that the bones have been there for at least 20 years and that the air shaft was only open during the summer of 1956. Diligent journalist Jessie Dunn (Sondra Locke) publishes an article listing the names of the six women who lived in the house during that summer. These former sorority members reunite and become involved not only in the police investigation, but also in an abortion debate.
