Formentera plot
Nina and Benno have been a couple for several years, and have a daughter together. The first holiday without a daughter leads them south: to Formentera in the Balearic Islands in Spain. Here they enjoy the sun and the warm Mediterranean breeze, free from the constraints of everyday life. Finally they have time for themselves and each other. But during a wild beach party, a rift appears in this idyll. Benno flirts with the beautiful Mara, and deep in the night Nina and Mara dive into the Mediterranean. Nina drifts off, and ends up on another island. Mara has disappeared without a trace. Nina and Benno find themselves in a deep crisis with so much at stake. Over the years of parenthood, something seems to have been lost, something that bound them together...
