Forgiveness plot

The white former police officer Tertius Coetzee (Arnold Vosloo) struggles with feelings of guilt about violent crimes from his service history. Acquitted by the truth commission but internally torn, Coetzee seeks forgiveness for the murder of black activist Daniel Grootboom. He travels to the fishing village of Paternoster and approaches the families of his victims.
