Flame of Youth plot

Outside the Wolf Club, quirky high school girl Geraldine "Jerry" Briggs waits in the parking lot while her ally Artie steals hubcaps from parked cars. When Steve Miller notices that his hubcaps are missing, he calls the police and Jerry is arrested. At the police station, Jerry tells Officer O'Brien of the Youth Prevention Bureau that she lives with her father George Briggs. The police then calls George and asks him to pick up his daughter. Although she tells her father she is innocent, Jerry later slips away to a gas station owned by the criminal Ceciro Coletti.
