Fighting Thoroughbreds plot

A temperamental mare and Kentucky Derby winner is inherited by impoverished nobleman 'Gramps' Montrose and his beautiful granddaughter Marian. Both are despised by Spencer Bogart, the owner of the stud. Greg, Spencer Bogart's son who is in love with Marian, helps her train the promising young foal for the impending 'Big Race'. This is completely against his father's wishes. When the time comes, Marian must ride her mare against her arch-rival.
