Fantasma d'Amore plot
Nino Conti is married to a socially prominent woman. In the bus he meets poor Anna. Later she calls him and tells him that she is the same Anna with whom he was so in love two decades earlier. The past begins to gnaw at Nino and memories of the time he spent with Anna surface.

It gradually evolves from nostalgic romance to a mystery, a thriller, where even a criminal side story appears and where a climactic ending can be expected.
However, it turns out completely different and the viewer is left with several options for the correct situation.
Perhaps Romy Schneider in a nurse's uniform in the final scene is the way to go.
In any case, Dino Rossi does cause some disappointment.
