Everyone Wants to Help Ernst plot

Feature film about Ernst (Arjan Ederveen), a man in his thirties who has lost his memory after an accident. Before the accident, his parents didn't know what to do with him and they see this situation as another chance to raise Ernst into a perfect son. They enlist the help of a psychiatrist, a priest and an ideal daughter-in-law to be. Ernst is treated like a small child. He tries to please everyone, but at the same time instinctively clings to his own ideals, which brings him into conflict with his parents and friends. During his renewed acquaintance with the world around him, Ernst finds himself in absurd situations.
