Every Nigger Is a Star plot

A man has been away from his familiar surroundings on the tropical island of Jamaica for quite some time. In an attempt to pick up the thread again, he begins a search for himself. He moves to the hills where the Rastafari reside. During this adventurous venture, he meets several famous reggae bands such as Inner Circle and Count Ossie's Mystic Revelation of Rastafari.
