Evergreen plot
Set against the rustic winter backdrop of the Colorado Western Slope, 'Evergreen' tells the story of an interfaith couple's tumultuous relationship over a Christmas weekend. Paul, a modern-day Catholic, plans to propose, while his pragmatic girlfriend Gena hopes to finally take their celibate relationship to the next level. When expectations collide, the two set aside their former views and agree to an honest no-nonsense "question-and-answer" weekend, uncovering long-buried secrets and manifestations of past relationships.
