Ernst Thälmann - Sohn Seiner Klasse plot
In November 1918, a pamphlet reached the soldiers on the Western Front, asking the Russian peasants and workers to immediately fight their oppressors. Tählman, who has long experienced the futility of war and is tired of his time as an unwilling soldier, immediately begins his return home to join his comrades' side. The attempted uprising of the working class has been prevented by right-wing Social Democrats and there is now a threat of a lack of solidarity among the working class. While the gap between rich and poor continues to widen, the unloading of foodstuffs from a solidarity mission among the workers of Pedrograd is prevented by the police. But then Thälmann can still ensure that the goods are unloaded and distributed.
