Rome in the summer of 1980. Franco (Alevino Di Silvio) 13 years old, runs home because of an argument with his father. He roams around in the metropolis, and earns his money as a scandal. Because of his dark complexion he is called Er Moretto, the Moor. After 2 years, his life changes radically when he is seduced by a nurse and slowly enters society.
