Madrid, 1974. Lucia ends up in prison for having a relationship with an opponent of Franco. As an educated woman, she has to share her life with women from all walks of life. She has to learn to deal with the illiterate, murderers, etc. for a period of ten years. Life is hard, but she learns to survive in the hard world.
