"The daring experience of finding the courage to be yourself on the road to freedom"

Francisco is autistic. He lives with his brother Victor, his wife Silvia and their son Bruno. Francisco lives in solitude; he is usually ignored and locked up. His only moments of freedom are the visits to the park. One day he finds a rat and he secretly keeps it as a pet. However, when Bruno finds out, he immediately tells his mother, who had been waiting for an excuse to evict Francisco for some time. They take him to his sister Gabriela in a distant village.
