Empty plot

"Where will you be when it runs out?"

The charming Dell Hansard is in love with his beautiful girlfriend Piper. The couple decides to go camping, which means they have no contact with the outside world for almost a week. On the way back, they stop at a gas station where they are surprised to see a sign that reads: "Closed indefinitely due to the oil crisis". They are still hours away from home and have run out of gas, leaving them on their own in an unfamiliar area. When they spend the night at a nearby motel, they are ripped off by the manager and robbed of their last money.
