Emilie Richards - Sehnsucht nach Sandy Bay plot

Psychotherapist Antoinette Deveraux (Bott) finds her marriage to the elderly geologist Timothy Deveraux (Grunert) a drag. She falls in love with the young doctor Sam Long (Schumann), with whom she treats a traumatized child. Meanwhile, her husband Timothy only worries about an upcoming borehole, which is quite controversial in New Zealand. Things get complicated when it turns out that Sam Long is a staunch opponent of the exploitation of gold, copper and zinc mines in a nature reserve. The exploitation of those wells is the work of Timothy.
