El Rey de La Habana plot
Reinaldo is a teenager who recently escaped from a correctional facility. His lack of conscience and sneaky manners are his only means of surviving on the streets of 1990's Havana. When he roams the city center, his sense of humor and rum are his only companions. One day he meets Magda. The two appear to have a lot in common and an impossible love affair develops. Together they look for a place to settle down and start a normal life. Meanwhile, they suffer from the tropical storms that pass through Cuba daily, damaging them beyond repair.
