A coup is taking place in a fictional Latin American country and when the president, who lives in European luxury in Paris, hears about it, he has to return temporarily to suppress the uprising. When order is restored, he returns to his life of luxury - until news of his crackdown reaches Europe and he is no longer welcome there. But a new cycle of violence will change that again...
