El Misterio del Trinidad plot

Joaquín Aguirre, a 74-year-old Mexican engineer, died at the bottom of the sea searching for the wreck of a Spanish ship: Santísima Trinidad, which sank in the Gulf of Mexico in the 17th century. He had been searching this wreck for over 30 years. After he died, he left his boat, El Meridiano, to his son Juan and his 18-year-old daughter Ana. Juan decides to follow in his father's footsteps and look for the wreckage of Santísima Trinidad.
