El Hakim plot
This biographical film tells of the life of a poor but gifted boy who rises to become a famous Egyptian doctor. He fights all his life against poverty, corruption and ignorance. His eventful career leads from Cairo and the small villages on the Nile via London and Paris, eventually back to his homeland, where he arrives critically ill.
