Pope John Paul II visited Mexico five times. During one of his pilgrimages, which was passionately broadcast on Mexican television and attended by enthusiastic crowds, five children are visited by the devil at night. He leaves each of them a pair of shoes, or so the group of young people, who are under the care of an eccentric grandmother who seems to be somehow connected to him, believes. Will this strange encounter help the children cope with their parents' absence?
