Een Dubbeltje Te Weinig plot

Netherlands, early fifties. A 16-year-old boy and a girl of the same age meet each other on a weekday. The boy is truant, the girl has been expelled from girls' high school for three days. There is a cautious attempt at rapprochement between the two. Ankie lives quite under pressure from her mother. Due to the questionable upbringing of his father, Jop has a more casual and less conventional character.
