Due Vite per Caso plot

At the age of twenty, life is an endless series of opportunities just waiting to be seized. But being in the wrong place at the wrong time sometimes distorts your choices. On a rainy night you drive too fast and you crash into a police vehicle and get beat up by some plainclothes police officers. Inside you are furious and neither your family nor your friends can calm your feelings. But maybe you manage to stop just in time that same evening and your life goes on quietly. And you decide to give up your underpaid job as a gardener and become a police officer. Did you ever finally have a choice?
