Dongchun de Rizi plot

Love story between two young artists in contemporary Beijing. A young painter has reached a dead end in his work. He is out of inspiration and he is unable to sell his paintings. Meanwhile, his girlfriend plans to emigrate to the United States. However, she turns out to be pregnant. After they decide not to keep the child, after years they visit his old family again, in the Chinese countryside, where the couple comes together again. But her decision is firm. The artist left behind is inconsolable.
