Dode Duiven plot

After having lived with her father for years, eighteen-year-old Merel is only just staying with her divorced mother when she decides to leave there too. She wants to stand on her own two feet and rents a room in the city. She grew up in a small village on the farm of her father and his new wife. In search of contact and love, she comes to a shocking conclusion: she hates men. While struggling with her sexuality, it is not only the present that seems to be to blame.
